Greetings art peeps!

It’s been a busy week! And I mean BUSY!!

It started with a shoot with Griffin in a 60’s home. Troll dolls, 8-tracks, console TV, and velvet paintings of Elvis. One would be hard pressed to think of something 60’s that wasn’t represented. It even smelled like the 60’s!!

Then I had a wonderfully packed shoot with Kristy. We've worked long enough together, and she’s so talented that we knocked out 10 looks in 2 hours.

Then I had a class over the weekend, so the studio was busy with instruction. Elley and Violet were the models for that class. The volume and talent flowed like a waterfall both days.

Before she modeled for that class, Elley came the day before, and we got creative with some unique wardrobe and her usual high-energy posing and hair!!!

And then I shot with a model who is new to me. Lexi has been flying under my radar, but not for too long. She started modeling two years ago, yet she seems to have the experience of a seasoned pro.

Tomorrow I’m shooting with Violet before she heads back home to West Virginia. That will be fun and creative, as it always is with her.

On Saturday, I’ll be spending the day with some great friends, eating, laughing, playing adventures with Laughing Moon, and later, having a pool party. It is interesting to me because most of the local ladies are regular models I often shoot. Elley, Griffin, Sara, Rachael, and some others. That should be as much fun as this old guy’s heart can handle. The hugs will be my defibrillator.

Whew!!

On a more four-legged note. Yesterday, the cat I adopted turned the corner, and instead of hiding all day, she’s now following me around, talking to me, and last night actually slept beside me all night. I think I have a new pal. And a bunch of new chores. But totally worth it. Considering the business of the studio with people coming and going and music playing, she probably figures that comes with her new territory, and it’s harmless.

And as always, feel free to comment, ask questions, or even make suggestions. I’m at ai7r@mac.com
