Greetings!

Well, it’s been a warm week for many of us. If you are reading this pretty much anywhere in the northern hemisphere. Even in our hideout in the mountains. There is no escape. The weather forecast, however, shows that we are headed to highs of 75 up there starting in a few days. Yeah, that would make me happy for sure. Like the good old days.

I almost had a past model come up to Bonita and shoot for a few hours, but she canceled at the last minute. I know models spend a lot on makeup, wardrobe, and travel, but everyone invests in a shoot. I spent the day planning each set, considering the natural light at different times, taking notes, cleaning my camera, and waiting the whole day until it was obvious she wasn’t going to make it. She finally canceled.

That kinda’ of thing takes some of the wind out of my sails. I have more than enough old shoots where I can sit down and enjoy half a day just making new art. No planning, no waiting, and boom, new art.
