This week in the life…

Greetings!

This week is a little short on new edits because I’m actually creating this Museletter Monday night for Wednesday release. I’ll be on the set of a western being filmed between Bonita Creek and Young. Just for a couple days to shoot some behind the scenes and just watch others work and display their talents. Distanced, masked, and living in my own trailer with my own food, so still not taking any chances with Rona.

Today I got yet another chance to shoot with Elley. Second time in the same number of weeks. This time we shot at Bonita Creek…and also in the actual creek. It was a fun and productive day. She’s spending the night and we’ll probably shoot a couple more sets in the morning before heading to the movie set. She’s a lead actress in it. So, not only behind the scenes shooting, but probably another chance or two to shoot Elley in boots…and maybe the rest of her wardrobe. Maybe.

We’ve been busy trying to update Bonita since it’s coming up on it’s 20 year mark. Lots can go bad on buildings that see weather. We are tackling some wood rot and painting. We got a quote for new windows and sliding doors, there are 29 of them total here at Bonita. After discounts it came to $2k per window. Do the math, no we don’t have new windows coming. Damn! So, getting out the oil and making the old windows work better.

And later this week we are visiting the valley for hair cuts and a visit to the Chandler hazardist waste folks to give them some old paint (21 gallon buckets) and some old swirly bulbs and other chemicals. I have learned that, if I buy paint or anything else that can be toxic, to plan to use it all at once and not try to keep any for that rainy day. It just doesn’t rain here.

So, on to some art. Assuming you read any of my ramblings.

Until next week!!
