Getting Organized
In this session I’ll go over how I organize my images. Of course, if you already have a process, good for you. You might watch this just to get some new ideas.
When I first got started I knew I was going to have to do something to find older files and shoots easily. And I didn’t want to figure out a system a year into it and have a mess to clean up.
I chose to have a different ‘catalog’ for each shoot. This lets me move whole shoots to backups without LR getting confused and saying it couldn’t find an image. Here is a session about catalogs.
This session is more about marking the ones I want to work with and then how to mark the finished images, mark the originals, and the reasons I did it the way I did.
Oh, and the young lady on the left is just there to make the page prettier.
