Greetings!

It was an exciting week. It’s not every day that one gets invited to a movie premiere. Elley was in a movie called “Prove Your Love” and her acting was terrific. I may be biased a bit, but I think she stole the movie. In that, I mean, she made it enjoyable to watch. It is a faith-based movie, so it’s not something I would watch usually. But I love observing my friends grow and travel through their lives and support them any time I can. Great job, Elley!!!

The last issue was filled with THIRTY new edits, and I’m so proud that I got so much new work done in one week. Well, this week contains TWENTY-NINE brand-new bits of art. And a video!

There are a few more from the Playboy shoot with Griffin, and I’m sure there will be even more from that fantastic three hours. The location and her fun Playboy look were just a perfect combination.

Some new ones from Diana are also in the mix. She’s such a wonder. I enjoy working with her any time we can get together.

The French calendar company Lavigne, has once again purchased the rights to some images for this year’s nude calendar offering. My pictures are on FOUR of the twelve months. And last year, they used FIVE of mine and one from my buddy Colby Files. It is an honor.

I researched the company, which is a custom printing firm. If someone wants invitations, letterhead, or postcards, they print them. In many cases, they provide the content. For example, you can get calendars with puppies, flowers, landscapes, or a nude calendar. Then, your company name and logo are printed across the top. They are huge calendars and printed beautifully. I expect many workshops and garages in France and the rest of Europe to have my art hanging up in a location of choice, with their company name proudly shown at the top. Like puppies, nudes are timeless, so I doubt they will be taken down when they expire. (grin)

Like everything else, we shall see if they decide to hire some kid to crank out AI images for their calendars in the future. I can see the French having an aversion to not having real people in their work. I sure hope so. AI can be beautiful, but I’m sad that it makes much of our art with just a few keystrokes and theft of styles and ideas for a machine to create “art.”

I’m sure artists said the same thing about cameras back in the day.
