Greetings!

It has been a very relaxing beginning of the year..so far. A little quiet is welcome. It promotes reflection and helps with course setting. And even here in Arizona, it is too cold to do anything outside, at least for this old man.

The studio and my new camera haven’t been active for months. I’d love to create and have some noise and flashing from the studio.

As we go through life, we make friends and enjoy their company, and in many cases, they fade away from our circle and are forgotten. As a photographer constantly browsing past work looking for more art, it is different. Many people I became friends with have moved on with their lives. They became dental hygienists, mothers, authors, got married, and many moved away. Many are not in my circle for one reason or another. The difference is that I see the pictures we took and the art we created. I remember the fun we had doing it. The laughs, the travels, the stories behind each shoot. Do I miss them and the good times? Oh yeah, who wouldn’t? However, I have no regrets and love the memories and art. I have no problem jumping into a shoot of any people I’ve worked with and happily create more art.

Tomorrow I’m giving an interview with Model Society magazine. David has built a lovely organization that promotes fine art nudes, from interacting with the artists to giving them a place to show off their art, having a fantastic magazine, and providing educational training for the artists. I’m proud to be a supporter of everything they do. They even market some of my training on their website. It is an honor to be included in this beautiful endeavor.

Prints

Let me know if you’d like a print of anything you’ve seen on my website. The first print is $75, and each additional one is $10 less than the previous one. $75, $65, and then $55 until the price levels off at $25 for each print. Postage is additional and probably under $15.

Prints come in 11x17 or 17x22 on high-quality luster paper and are shipped to you in a heavy-duty mailing tube. They are stunning.
