Greetings!

I certainly had an exciting week. It started just before the last Museletter came out with Linda and I rumbling over some rough terrain to visit a quarter section of land an old high school buddy owns east of Tucson. Like, two hours east. The trailer did a fantastic job because it is raised and has a massive independent suspension system under it. So much fun watching it do what it was designed to do. And spending a couple of days in a high desert with zero possibilities of anyone coming around was peaceful indeed.

Then, on Friday, I joined a good friend, Red, for dinner and a trip to the Phoenix Symphony to see Star Wars: A New Hope, with the music being played live! What a fantastic experience!

The next day, I was invited to my first Dungeons and Dragons game as a spectator, and I was fascinated. Being surrounded by good friends helped and they were very inviting and took the time to explain what was going on as the game progressed. Soooo, I’m now building a character so I can give it a try myself. I didn’t know anything about D&D before this, and I figured it was more complicated than it is. But nope, after a few YouTube lessons and some reading, it is making sense, and I’m looking forward to my first game. Thank you guys for inviting me.

From a photography point of view, several of us have plans to do a D&D shoot with some lovely ladies playing in their character costumes, with some special effects added. I’m excited to make that happen.

This has been a very different week for sure. In the past, I likely would have waved off those experiences and stayed home. No more. This guy is looking for new experiences and new things to learn. Life is too short to stay in a box.

And, we have a new photography class scheduled for May 11th!! It will be the third annual natural light class with Elley as the model. I’ll be adding a single light to the mix this year and Elley will have some new and unique outfits. Last year a good number of people who attended had come to the first one. They knew just how much fun it is. After five hours of shooting everyone was happy and exhausted.

Check it out!!
