Happy New Decade!!!!

Welcome to a new decade!

Let’s all try to be as thoughtful and understanding as we’ve ever been. I know I’m trying.

So, Linda and I have been hiding out at Bonita Creek since Christmas Eve and will be here for another 9 days. As much as I love to edit, I’ve been doing little projects that aren’t photography related most of the time. it’s good to get away from something you love and you’ll love it even more when you get back to it.

But, I have done a few images, and different versions of some of them. Some are really very different from the others. I hope you like them.

I’ve been working with the Zoom program to get ready to offer 1on1 and group training for people who can’t travel for some reason, and it really opens up the ability to train people from anywhere on the planet. It’s certainly a good time to be alive.

Little things I’ve been doing. Every January 1st the old hams get on their old radios and actually chat on morse code using a hand key. It’s fun to get back to basics. And I have a 3D printer I’m customizing and in the process I’m learning more about them every day. And I hooked up something called ‘Free To Air’…a small satellite dish and cheap receiver that lets me watch some interesting (and strange) programs from all over the world. I found one called GRIT and now, with the sound turned down mostly, I can glance over and see some old western playing. (or as seen on TV ads). And updating weather stations, websites, and a dozen other geeky projects. I’m having a ball.

So, have a wonderful new year. Let’s hope the unthinkable becomes unthinkable again and we end this year with less wars and less hunger in the world. One can always hope.
