This week in the life…

What a nice week. When you do so much that you are enjoying and get so tired by the end of the day that you go to bed just so you can get back at it the next day, that’s a good time. We are still up at Bonita Creek and I’d have to say that every day I accomplished some task, like finishing a project, or building something, or programing something. It’s been a great couple weeks of geeking out. Alas, coming home Friday to do shoots and teach classes so its back to the ‘grind’. Well, shooting beautiful ladies at their most beautiful, that kind of grind.

The weather has been perfect. The snow is almost gone but it’s supposed to snow a little more tomorrow. I’m good with that. I love seasons.

I’ve spent most of my time up here not doing physical work so I’m anxious to get back to the gym and walking a lot more. Feeling fit is a nice feeling indeed.

Sooo, I had so much on my plate that I didn’t get a ton of edits done. But a fair amount. And I mixed in some past images to add some extra images to this week’s Museletter. The image on the right is Drea. It turns out she was starting labor as we shot. She didn't tell me she was in pain, but she had her little girl the next day. Frankly, I think it was the pink flashes of light the baby was seeing and she just wanted to come out and play.

That’s one type of mainstream photography I enjoy. Maternity. But on my terms. Of course, that means as natural as possible. After all, it’s the most natural of times in anyone’s, everyone’s, life. But you will never see a maternity shot of mine with the hands making a heart over the belly button! Nope.

In the coming couple weeks I have some fun shoots scheduled as well as a few classes to teach. At least one or two of the shoots will be on location so I’m stoked about that.

And this is Museletter 51!! One more and it’ll be a year’s worth of Museletters!! Awesome! And thank you all for your support!

Until next week, have fun. And please make it a point to tell at least one of your friends to subscribe and let them see some of my art every week.
