This week in the life…
Greetings!
I hope you are all safe. Honestly, I think the term is fat and happy. Unless you have figured out a way to not snack all the time. I don’t weigh any more than I did at the start of all this. But my shape has changed to more of an O. We have a treadmill coming tomorrow and when we are in the valley, that should give me 3 or 4 miles each day to help with that roundness.
Friday, Linda and I head to the mountains once again. Our plan is to stay there until it gets cold again in the valley. Yeah, seems like it might be forever. We’ll be trimming trees and basically making the lot as fire resistant as we can. It’s an on going job since that stuff grows pretty fast. But that means the pine trees are getting bigger too and I’m very good with that. Hope it rains!
Okay, so, I had a bit of a shoot last Saturday. Elley (right) was the model and I hosted the studio for 3 other photographers to come shoot her. At different times of course. And I got to sneak in some shooting between appointments and at the end. We kinda’ killed it I think. That is one of the shots we created.
Another you will see a before and after in the gallery is one where she’s a sihhouette on a while background but her eyes are lit up. I put the before in so you can see just how close that image was to what I actually shot. New toy for my lights gives me shapes like that. Very fun.
And another image we got is this B&W that you see on the right. It’s certainly a brain teaser and some people have failed to figure out what it is. It’s a bit risque yet shows almost nothing. Take your time. It’s fun.
I’ll be taking my camers and some lighting to Bonita and I hope to do a shoot with someone every other weekend or so. Depends on who is up for the drive. And just how bad the zombie apocalypse gets. Distancing in the forest should be easy.
