This week in the life…

Greetings!

I’m finally getting over a bad cold. Of course all the news about viruses doesn’t help when you are already coughing. But, once again, it appears I won out over the little bug-gers. And, knock on wood, I seem to have saved Linda from picking up one of my germs. I’m not always a sharing person so I hope that’s the case. Speaking of not sharing, I’ve moved all of my shoots to a couple weeks out to make sure I don’t share with any of the models or staff.

Oh, and I did notice something interesting about the newest virus threat when I saw a map of where people are sick. It’s all above the equator. So, it’s much like the flu it appears and summer will be a bit of a respite from the worry. It gives our summer folks in the southern hemisphere time to prepare and we have the summer to learn to wash our hands and not share our bugs. I hope.

And this week I made it into one of my favorite magazines. Purchase my buddy Dave’s magazine and check out my first perfect beach shoot in full color on real paper. Cliq mag. Only $15 for digital and print!!

I did get some editing done this week and may get a few more done before this news letter is released. But I’ll be mixing some older art in to add content. (It was hinted I didn’t have enough nudes in the last issue.) The last couple days I edited some new ones of Elley that I think are over the top beautiful art. They are included here.

I’m very much looking forward to April when Josh, my intern/assistant, and I will be heading out to the dunes and Salton Sea in California for a three day shooting adventure with Elley and Dan. There will be a lot of behind the scenes video and I hope some beautiful images. The dunes in particular have been on my bucket list since day one of photography.

I’m working on learning some new tools in Photoshop. I saw some interesting videos and it’s a tool I’ve always wondered about but I know, like everything else, it’ll take time to build the skill it takes to use it effectively. It’s always fun to learn something new.

Enjoy this week’s art. Wish me luck kicking this bug to the curb. And enjoy your week!
