This week in the life…
Greetings all!
I hope last week found you all well and relatively sane.
It was very unusual up here at Bonita. A large family actually spent the week up here last week next door. And that was great. I love the sound of kids playing…sometimes. ;) But they were mostly doing school online and their Dad was teleworking too, so, to be respectful Linda and I didn’t do much yard work, at least not that would make much noise.
Now that it has jumped head first into fall up here we can work in the yard pretty much any time of day or all day. Last night was horendously windy night. Common for a fall night so we know it’s here…really this time.
So, plenty of time to edit some new images last week. Out of the 30, I think there are only a few that are old. And, frankly, I had a total blast with my marathon edit sessions.
So, a couple interesting behind the scenes images. I posted one of Aurora at the chalk board and also the before image. And another of Elley giving me the total respect that I deserve. (light tests)
Tomorrow we have a crew coming to replace one of the poles holding up a corner of our deck. The base is sitting on some wood that is rotting so it’s a risky job of bracing the upper deck and roof while a new post is put in place. I sure hope that turns out okay because it could do some serious damage if something fails. Fingers crossed.
