Dark hair to light hair
This is a quick session (4 minutes) and only covers one thing - how to change hair from dark to light colors. AND, we do it with some slight of hand in Lightroom only. It’s far easier than you might think.
As you’ll see in the video, I paint her hair with the brush set to remove saturation. That makes it grey. Then I bring up the brightness, crank the tint over to yellow-ish, and then bring some saturation back in. Done…she goes blonde.
I learned this by thinking about what tools I had available and did some experimenting. Always consider coming up with your own solution to problems using what you already know. And learn all you can so you have a good foundation to solve problems.
I haven’t provided an image here because you should have plenty of images with people with darker hair.
