Greetings,

This week I’m in California, Santa Ynez and then Huntington Beach, and of course Dizzyland for a day. That’s as close to normal as we’ve been in 2 years now.

Because I’m going to be away from my main editing environment, there will be very few new images to share. Soooo, I’m doing something I’ve considered for a while, and maybe even mentioned it before. This issue is a focus on just one model, Nikole, and a collection of work we’ve created so far. Well, in her case, two models because Gary was an amazing addition to many of the looks.

As always, when I have a couple, be it two ladies, or a man and woman, the images get warm to the touch. Some people may even choose to be offended. That’s a choice. I hope you see the classiness. Some of these are very close to the line I wouldn’t cross. With a bit of sleight of hand, you don’t even notice that Gary has a pair of jeans on for all but one or two of the images. The acting is often pretty good when there are two people involved.

You notice I didn’t say I’d ever had two men together in a shoot. Some novel authors had asked me to make a gay cover series, and I did actually schedule a male couple to be the models. I was hoping and praying that we would get something hot enough for a cover. Because, as much as I support every lifestyle, I don’t know what affection between two males should look like to be hot to those that would know. I’ve grown up with fantasies about couples and two ladies, so I have some idea how to set up a warm shot, but I’ve never been interested in two males. I never thought about it. It didn’t bother me when the models canceled because I didn’t have a clue how to direct them.

I said I supported everyone’s lifestyle, and I absolutely do, but it doesn’t mean I understand them, nor should I be expected to. Not only are some of my best friends gay, but we tease each other about aspects of straight and gay. My favorite line is to tell them to pick a color, they can’t have them all. (grin)

Like I said, this is a warmer set of images than I’ve ever released. It isn’t a trend, and next week the images will probably be a lot of random creations as all 140+ of the past Museletters have had.

Again, having two people interact is always extra fun and creative because they can give a glance, a smile, or light touch and it brings the images to life. Now, as always, there is a LOT you don’t see. The laughing, giggling, and teasing between sets is so fun. And watching a pair of people posing exactly as I direct, and as hot as it gets as I’m clicking away. As soon as I say ‘we got it’ everything goes back to friends laughing and looking at what we caught. It’s actually an over the top fun experience.

Actually, a behind the scenes video will be out this year.

Feel free to send a note and let me know what you think about this or any of the Museletter.

Much adu about nothing - as William Shakespeare once wrote.

Ad: On the 20th of November, I’m doing a group class with 6 photographers and Elley as the model. It’s all about lighting and then some editing over Zoom. That should be great fun for all. And she’s going to book up the following day in the studio for 1on1 shoots with photographers. So if you don’t need a class (21st), here’s your change to work with a real pro. And if you’d like to take the class, click the link.

Enjoy the art!

Until next week, enjoy!!! And stay safe.
