Greetings!
Happy Wednesday, all!
I’ve had a couple of shoots since the last issue. Yesterday, I shot Lydia for the first time in a few years, and she’s as beautiful as ever—and these days, a mother of two. After we finished, she even sat with me to watch me edit a couple of our images. That’s always fun. I’ll admit it, I love showing off. In case the Museletter wasn’t proof on the hoof.
After our shoot, I realized this will be the last shoot in the studio until fall, most likely. Although this weekend, I’m giving a two-day 1-on-1 class. Most of you know I absolutely LOVE teaching, so I’ll be leaving Chandler and the studio on a high note. Of course, we visit Chandler every two or three weeks for groceries we can’t get in Payson, to check on the house, for an adventure, or for appointments. So, another shoot or two could happen before fall.
If you are reading this on Wednesday morning, I’ll be shooting Griffin at a location in Glendale. It is a home designed for photoshoots, and it has a pool. We shall see how the sun cooperates with us for pool shots. Those are actually best done at night, but we’ll see. Locations are always a nice challenge. Figuring out the best light, angles, and anything special we can do creatively with the spot.
Today I cranked up the Canon Pro 1k printer to print some of Griffin's sold images. I have to say, I am impressed with the prints every time one comes out. How a printer can be that clear and perfect is always a bit of a shock.
It might be time to get your own prints. Check out the Griffin Collection, use the password ‘bloodwine’, and see what you’d like to hang on your wall.
A special thanks to the readers who bought me ice cream last week. Thank you so much! Have a great week, all!
