This week in the life…
Greetings!
Hey everyone.
I heard a really funny line today. “It’s 2020, what could go wrong?!?”
I had three shoots on Sunday and Monday. The young lady on the right drove from LA to do a shoot and I also shot with Ziva and Violet. So it was a fun but stressful weekend. But I also got to visit with Dania, my regular makeup and hair artist. All are sweeties!
Then, there was a burning bush that turned into the Bush fire and as of this evening it’s about 90,000 acres and less than 10% contained. It has closed most roads going between Chandler and Bonita so when it came time for me to join Linda at Bonita Tuesday morning, I had to spend an extra hour on the road to come in from the north. I had cookies so I survived. The fire is still on the other side of a mountain range but we’ve had smoke for days…a lot of smoke. But it’s far enough south that we should be safe from that fire. Hey, it’s 2020, what could go wrong?
So, I haven’t had much chance to edit new material this week, but what I did turned out nice and I added a bunch of older art. Oh, and we had family here for part of the week.
I also discovered I had finished work scattered between two folders. So, my mission, should I accept it, is to weed through the almost 8,000 edited images and make sure each and every one is saved and stored in Dropbox and 14 other places.
Tomorrow I get a new toy. It’s not photography related, but it’s something I’ve wanted since I first saw a machanical one as a kid. Check it out. Especially if you like clocks. Geochron
So, everyone stay safe. I’m one of those that believes masks help. If you don’t, just put on a mask and show everyone you care anyhow. It’s not political, its humans caring.
