This week was busy for Linda and I. It is true what they say about being retired gives you no time. My calendar is always packed. Lots of family business and other things that kept me away from as much editing as I usually do. On Friday we have a visitor coming from Canada for the week, but he’s a photographer so extra shoots as well as a ton of editing is on the docket. It’ll be a wonderful week I’m sure.
We hired a fitness trainer for our new ‘get fit’ kick we are on. And just about every day we have been hitting the gym for an hour or so. Of course, our gym has those water massage chairs and we get to sit in those for 10 minutes. Kinda’ like dessert after a long workout.
This gym is new and awesome. it’s in Chandler about a mile from us and it’s called Vasa. Very nice people and massive place.
On to some art!!
And some art never before seem since I don’t post the ‘tawdry’ work on social media anymore.
Remember, if you see some art you would like on your wall, or just on your phone in high res, let me know. I do sell both prints (up to 17”x22”) and digital copies for your pads and phones. Check it out!
Special discount for prints for my subscribers!! Use the code ‘davesnewsletters’ and get 50% off any purchases of prints or digital images on the site. And if you want one that isn’t there, let me know and I’ll do a special over for you!
A few more random edits I did last week. Enjoy these fine ladies.
First Friday Art Shot At Parkwood Studios
For the first time ever, I took a bunch of my art to display to the public. My buddies Colby and Randy joined me with their amazing fine art. Good time but, as usual, only other photographers and models showed up so it’ was more visiting than displaying to the public.
Shoot for alanna and her baby
I’ve shot with this young lady for about 6 years now. We consider her our non-deductible daughter. That makes her new 4 month old son our non-deductible grandson I guess. We got some off the charts amazing images of her with her son. Images I’ve wanted to get since I started, but alas, for reasons I can’t get into right now, I can’t show them publicly. Here’s what I can show.
This is one of those times when I just discover a new model I love working with who is talented and has an amazing look, and she moves away. I did get a chance to play with her when we passed through Utah last summer. (that’s the one where she’s in my truck)
