This week in the life…

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Wednesday. At least the world is still normal enough to have a Wednesday every week.
So, Linda and I did that quick trip to San Diego and back, stayed in our little trailer, and ate our own food on the trip. Almost ran out of gas…I now take extra gas in the back of the truck on trips so that worked out just fine. Anyhow, picked up the vintage radios I wanted and they are working just fine. They are from the 1960’s and use tubes. Classic. And I included a photo of my new babies down below.
I did have time to edit some new work and it’s mixed in with some older art. I hope you enjoy the diversion.
I have a maternity shoot scheduled for later in the month as well as a shoot or two here in the forest along the creek. Still distancing of course. But, frankly, other than the welcome and good bye hugs, I don’t get that close to the models. I will, however, keep track of owed hugs for any shoots we do pre-vaccine. Meanwhile, I only get to hug my sweetie.
I think it’s a good time to change something I’ve done in the past and have wanted to change. It’s simple. I’m not going to show people the back of the camera anymore except on extremely rare occasions, and no more letting the model sit at the computer and pick the ones they like. Nope, I expect someone working with me trusts me to get the best images we can from the session. And I don’t want those possible virus infected fingers touching my stuff right now anyhow. I could die you know. I’m an old guy. ;)
Other than some other geeky projects around here, Linda and I are just hanging out, hiking, eating a couple meals a day, and feeling so thankful we are where we are and don’t have to worry much about the rest of the world. Still printing PPE face shields and N95 bands, but that’s about the only way we can help fix the world. Other than voting in a few months.
I hear dinner is almost ready, so, until next week!
