Greetings,

It must be Wednesday!

This week features Miss Elley Ringo once again. Will I ever run out of images of this beauty you may ask. No, no I won’t. Not so long as she allows me around her with my camera. Especially when we adventure together so well. Off to canyons, forests, beaches, and deserts. We’d shoot on Mars if we could I be thinking. I’m not sure how nudes would work there though.

I’ve had a crap load of shoots over the last week or so. And some freak’n amazing images are awaiting my attention. It has been an amazing week but it has included a lot of projects that are not art related. I won’t go into detail, but it even included a visit to the Ham Station that is in the Arizona Science Center. I took on a couple more projects, mainly because I can’t keep my mouth shut. When I see an opportunity for something to be better, I can’t shut up. They are trying to get kids interested in the hobby by letting them send their names in morse code. The lack of excitement was evident. I suggested to make it so they tap out their names and as they send the code the letters appear on a big screen. Okay, now THAT might get a line started of kids wanting to get their names on the monitor. What do you think? Dit-dit-dah-dah-dit-dit? (that’s a question mark)

I also picked up a new radio that is designed to be used remotely. So, I did spend a bit of time playing with that of course. ;). And I have some other radio related projects coming up that I’ll share to my yawning masses.

I had a physical a few days ago after a few years away from doing that. I had radiation for prostate cancer about 5 years ago. And things were looking good but we stopped testing. The test came back with a PSA of .3 and that means, after 5 years, it is most certainly gone. So, that is a bit of a reassuring relief. If you are over 40 and have a prostate, get your butt tested!!

And a few years back I mentioned to my son that I’d love to have a nice big desk with lots of drawers to do my projects on. It took him over a year of fine tuned craftsmanship, but he created a masterpiece that will be in the family for generations I’m sure. Here are some pictures. All his work from lumber to finished product. It is 6’ by 3’ on the desk top. It has a spot on the top that I can just place my phone and it charges. And pop up AC/USB outlets for the items I’m working on. It is perfect. Thank you son!

And, I wish it wasn’t against the wall, because he hand crafted this on the front.

Until next week. Stay crispy, happy, and healthy. Please!

Dave

New images…and some classics

This week in the life…

And my new radio on the right, and my iPad running the radio from anywhere on this planet.
