Greetings,

It’s been a busy week it seems, even though I only had one shoot on Sunday and Monday…same model, just two environments. I had the chance to shoot with Nikole from California. Interesting young lady. A couple years ago she shot for the first time since she was a teen model ten years earlier. It was with me and we shot some very classy nudes. What makes her a little more interesting that usual is that she was a preacher at her church in Minnesota and now she travels around guesting on talk shows because of her gay lifestyle and is a very successful life coach. I’m not saying someone who shoots nudes with me will go the same route. But hey, it can obviously happen. She’s now very successful and far more comfortable with herself.

Since she was coming to Arizona to shoot with some photographers here I wanted to do something different than the studio. I asked her to send me a film clip of her B&B and it was full of wonderful light. So, we shot there. And the next day she came to the studio and shot some looks in there and then in her rental car in my garage. I’ve included a before and after of that shot just because it’s a challenge to shoot in a garage where we store a bike, toilet paper, and, well, garage stuff. We also shot in my driveway. If my neighbors didn’t know what I did before, they do now.

I’m feeling the ‘normal’ coming back. With about one shoot per week I’m finding I’m already not getting to all of the images I’d like to edited from each shoot. There are still plenty from my weekend shooting with Elley in the wastelands of the western desert. And a lot of great shots of Tayler yet to see the light of day. They both killed it as did Ziva last week and I haven’t don’t much with her shoot. So, lots of new work coming. And a couple more shoots next week.

Oh, and I now have videos of behind the scenes of Tayler, Elley, Ziva, and Nikole. I need to get to editing once I have more finished edits. But the videos are becoming a regular thing now if the models are okay with it.

Today a bunch of money was wired to me by the French calendar company. You may recall I thought I was being played but it turns out they really did buy 8 images, three for black and white calendars and 5 for nude calendars. And the images they picked were…well, lets just say I have a feeling they may be back next year for more. I hope. So now I have to sit down and send out some money to the models. They won’t be able to make a car payment but they could have a very nice meal from the proceeds. And, of course, they will be hanging on thousands of walls all across Europe.

This week every image is new. I did not pull any historic images to thicken the gravy so to speak. I hope to be able to do that from now on, but we shall see.

Geek report. My son came and helped me get the indoor AC units hung on the walls yesterday in my office and the studio. Today I tossed a bunch of money at Home Depot and Ace to create a concrete pad for the outdoor unit as well as all of the electrical. By Thursday I hope to have it running…just in time for the heat.

And, last Friday I went to Williams with a good friend and I picked up a couple of ham radios that are old but amazing. In one case it’s new to me but uses tubes and hails from the 70’s. The guy I got it from does restorations and oh my. This radio looks like it just came off the assembly line. It works like it too.

So, that’s the news from Lake Wobegon this week. Remember I love to hear from you and in case you love something enough to own it, 12x17 or 17x22 prints are $55 each, shipped.

Enjoy and stay safe.
