Greetings,

I hope you are all staying warm. It is now officially winter. I can tell because I think we get what, 2 hours of daylight now?!? It seems just as I get started on some project it starts getting dark. Next week it sounds like we might get some rain and/or snow. That would be awesome. We are all stocked up in hot coca, Bailey’s, and a nice fire place to enjoy them by.

We came up last Friday but before that I had a shoot with Violet, Aneve, and Lesslee. So, I do have some new edits for this issue. Aneve is a new model for me and she did a wonderful job, as did Violet and Lesslee as you’ll see. And that’s about it for a while as far as shoots. But you know I have enough to edit for years if I had too.

I had a class scheduled for January but I canceled that as well as anything else in the calendar for now. Having 8 people in a 14x27 room for five hours would just be irresponsible right now. It might be a couple more years before we can settle into some kind of normal apparently. We shall see. Meanwhile, Linda and I are working on staying out of the hospital.

The image to the right is a favorite and is with Aneve. I could easily just do that kind of art and I’d be happy as a lark. Simple, but with curves that draw your eye The whole trip around. When I edited that one it took me a while. Not because I changed the shape or basic picture, but because I saw the potential to be something I’d love for the art. It looked almost black and white, and there is nothing wrong with that but it just wasn’t ‘there’ for me. So I edited out her arm and found that that messed up the framing. After just sitting back and studying it for a bit I came up with turning her panties bright red. Bingo! Another eye draw. Can you tell I like that one?

There is another website that I publish to and enjoy getting inspiration from. I’ve mentioned it before, but it’s worth talking about again. It is called 500px and I typically have 40k-70k image views every day. That’s over a million views per month!! The site has some of the best photographers and you’ll find everything from landscapes to artistic nudes and all in very high quality images. I typically post 3-5 images a day, old and new. I don’t think it costs money to join and view images so Check it out!

And, by next Museletter I’ll have info on my very own Patreon page. I’ll be posting a new image every day there as well as a tier where you get a print of your choice every 3 months. It’s just being configured now. It’ll be at https:/www.patreon.com/DKArtistics. I’m going to probably post fewer new images here. This may change more into a featured model offering. We shall see.

Of course, you are already reading this on my website. Take a moment and surf around and see what else is here. There are back issues of the Museletter, galleries, some blogs, and the training system to teach other photographer/artists.

On the geek side of things, I have cleaned up and installed three old Drake radio stations up here at Bonita and they are all working pretty well. I’m still working to clean up and improve my abilities to remote control my newer radios up here from Chandler, or anywhere. So that is all keeping me busy. I have pictures of all of the old gear on my website at ai7r.net.

Not much else to report here. I’m still learning video editing so another week goes by without the “Open Wide” being published. Sorry. I’m working on it.

Meanwhile, you all have a happy and safe holiday. Next Museletter is after Christmas but before 2022.

Remember. Do something kind for someone every day. We are all in this mess together.

Until next week, enjoy!!! And stay safe.

Dave
