Greetings,

Welcome 2022! Of course, it’s just a turn of yet another calendar page. Or a new calendar. But, now starts the next 6 months of my putting 2021 where it should say 2022 because I take 6 months to be trained. ;)

This year marks a slight change for the Museletter. It will continue to be a Wednesday treat for me to create for you all. I’m going to release it earlier in the day so it’s more of a ‘good morning’ to you than an afternoon delight. (grin). The real change will be the content. Up to now it featured a lot of the latest edits I’ve done. That took away some of the exposure for the models since I don’t take the time to label each image with links to the models. Here it’s about the art and not about who it is in the image. Of course I’m always happy to answer if anyone asks about a certain image. I’ll be one of the few photographers who let the models release their new images first instead of the photographer getting to pull the trigger on new work. They deserve it!!

So, the models will receive new edits from me as I do them so they can post them to social media, sell them, or whatever they like. I will be using the new edits as daily releases in my Patreon account. And, unlike the Museletter, that is a daily release with at least one image, and most often more than one. And on Mondays those in the second tier will have a short BTS video from a shoot.

New edits will be added to the pile of thousands of finished images and will eventually show up in the Museletter of course. Maybe the next week, and maybe a year later. I’m also working to make sure images in the Museletter won’t be repeated in later issues. So, they may be older art, they will be unique.

Speaking of unique. This week we have the incomparable Kileen Ivy. You’d have to meet this beautiful lady to experience how outgoing and sassy she is. So much fun to work with or just chat with. Believe it or not, the pictures don’t do her personality justice. She’s one of a kind. And any outfits of ideas more than likely came from her own mind. Thank you Kileen for gracing my camera lens a few times now. I hope we can more often in the future!

It appears we are headed for a real serious peak in the virus over the next 30 days, and then it should come down just about as fast through February. Lets hope this is the last peak and, between vaccinations and herd immunity we may be out of the woods. This time around I have a LOT of friends who have come down with it. The spooky part is, many have not been vaccinated and it’s been over a week since I’ve gotten any response from them. And many are in my age group. I was hoping to get though this without someone I knew leaving this life behind. Here’s hoping we all make it through.

Linda and I have been locked down in our apocalypse bunker at Bonita Creek for the last few weeks and we kinda’ expect to be here through February. Each week we run to the valley to have groceries dropped in the back of our Rav and come back up, that’s about it. Payson stores don’t offer curb side because it is a bright red town. Gives us a chance to check on Chandler and we usually spend the night.

So, Linda and I have decided it’s time to change our diets. Not because it’s a new year, but because we need to get healthier and loose more than a few pounds. Lots of study later and we are going to try the Keto system. Don’t worry, we are going to watch our health as we transision. It’ll be fun to try some new foods anyhow.

Patreon for those who want daily brand new art.

And my Patreon site is doing well, even though the link last week was all wrong for it. It’s kinda’ cool, with three tiers to choose from.

For $5 a month you get a new edit each day, ofter more. Something no one has seen yet. Some may never make it to the public.

For $12 a month I’ll be posting a lot of behind the scenes stories, videos of BTS, and Zoom Q&A once a month.

And for $25 a month you get all of that AND every THREE MONTHS you’ll get a print of your choice mailed to you.

So check it out and support my efforts, and have some daily art.

Enough about me. Enjoy this months art and let me know what you think.

Until next week, enjoy!!! And stay safe.

And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Dave
