This week in the life…

Greetings,

This was a good week for us. Taxes done, shots scheduled, and a lot of my geek projects are working after much research to figure the problem out. And, of course, some editing and a Zoom video on lighting that was attended by a good number of folks. Nothing like a productive week.

The topper was this morning when Linda checked the Walgreens website and there were shot appointments available. We hopped on that moving train as quickly as we could, and we have appointments for our first and second shot. In celebration, I went into the studio and put my camera and light batteries in their chargers. Now to polish up my lenses and clean up the studio. After the middle of March, I'll be back to shooting very cautiously, still with masks and distancing, but we'll feel a bit more protected. At least the light at the end of this damned tunnel might not actually be an oncoming train after all.

I hope it doesn't jinx anything, but our passports are expiring and we plan to update them so we can travel in the future. I SO enjoyed England and Ireland. I really want to take Linda there this time. Such amazing people and views from the cliffs. And green grass. And it was real!!

This week I've also done a few 1on1 zoom training sessions to help people see things from different angles, and show them some new techniques to try. I so love teaching and sharing. I think I may still give any group training a few more months and see how the pandemic goes. Maybe in the fall. I hope.

And I've made my 2018 volume one (and only so far) PDF book available for download. I even have it on sale. So if you'd like to see some of my favorite work in high def check it out. That would undoubtedly encourage me to create a volume two. Check out the bottom of this page!!

So, you all have an amazing week. Enjoy the art. As usual, I have new and previous art mixed together.

You all stay safe and enjoy the art.

Dave
