Greetings,

Greetings! We made it to February 2022. I don’t know, 2022 sounds like something that pops up on a scifi movie about the future. It sure doesn’t seem like we are that advanced. Unless you consider our way of life 100 years ago. I’m sure people were happy, certainly healthier in many ways, and had hobbies to keep them entertained. I’ve been focusing more and more on eating healthier and doing things that have the most meaning for me. Usually involving creation in some way. From art to a computer program, to moving rocks around in the yard. It took me to my 60’s to start really understanding what is important in my life. Of course, I wish I’d had this understanding in my 20’s. Old guy rambling, sorry.

This week’s Museletter is unique in that, as a fine art nude photographer, none of the images involve nudity. And not just one model this issue either. A few years back I planned a 5 day trip to California to just shoot until exhaustion. Figuring most of my usual models I work with would be busy I asked a few of them. You can imagine my shock when 4 of them wanted to go!!

Soooo, we went to the beach a couple of times, shot in the AirB&B (called the Love Shack), and an excursion on a boat one of the days. This is a collection of just some of the images that came out of that excursion. Taking care of feeding and housing that many ladies was a challenge. But they are all really great friends so it was a wonderful time for me. Certainly a time I will never forget.

The Keto diet Linda and I have been on for a month has shown progress. I’ve lost 12 pounds already, feeling wonderful, and the meals we are creating each day is far more tasty and varied than what we were eating. The house smells delicious most of the time now too. Well, except the sauerkraut and weenie meal. And surprisingly, we don’t miss the chocolate, ice cream, or doughnuts. We might snack on some cheese, but we never seem actually hungry.

On the geek side of my life, this last week has been very exciting. Last Friday I bought another Drake radio station that is in amazing shape. I’m listening to it as I type this. And there is something called a radio repeater that allows hams with little hand held radios to talk all over an area, like a state, or the world. In the frequency range of 900 Megahertz there is a group and has a state wide network but no coverage of Payson. So, they offered me a repeater, a hand held radio, and a special box to plug into my network to help it all work. On Saturday I pick up that repeater and next week I should have it in place and working. The neatest part of this is that there are no radios for this band available to just buy. It is all based on old business radios that have been converted. So the people I will be talking with are true geeks. Because they have made this all work…the hard way.

That special box that I will use to hook it to the network has me super excited because it gives me 5 static IP addresses. That changes everything with my remote controlling of my radios from Chandler (or anywhere). The sky is the limit now, and that box came UPS yesterday!! Happy geek! Happy geek!!

Next week will be back to a focus on fine art nudes and featuring one model at a time again. But I hope you enjoy this diversion and the images of these devoted ladies. Remember to send me a comment if there is anything you’d like to see.

Until next week. Stay warm, dry, happy, and healthy. Please!

Dave

Patreon for those who want daily brand new art.

And my Patreon site is doing well, even though the link last week was all wrong for it. It’s kinda cool, with three tiers to choose from.
* For $5 a month you get a new edit each day, ofter more. Something no one has seen yet. Some may never make it to the public.
** For $12 a month I’ll be posting a lot of behind-the-scenes stories, videos of BTS, and Zoom Q&A once a month.
*** And for $25 a month you get all of that AND every THREE MONTHS you’ll get a print of your choice mailed to you.

So check it out and support my efforts, and have some daily art.

Enough about me. Enjoy this month’s art and let me know what you think.

Until next week, enjoy!!! And stay safe.
