This week in the life…
Greetings!
Another week has gone by already. How time flies when every day is like the last one. At least for some of us. Some new edits this week and mixed in some rare older ones. It always pleases me when I find an image sitting in a years old shoot folder that turns out nice.
Take the soapy image on the right. It turned out far better than I expected. Makes me wish I could just edit all day long and see what I can create.
In the next week I will be spending a lot of time making sure I have a full size copy of every finished image I’ve made for the last 6 or 7 years. Unfortunatly, I’ve let it get away from me, and they are randomly stored in different folders. And I’m discovering some are missing. Sooo, time to hunt around and collect. I think I’ll be close to 8,000 images when it’s all done.
Well, this coming Saturday I’ll be hosting some photographers who will be shooting with Elley Cat. This was planned long before Arizona became the virus hot spot on the planet. At least the photographers are coming one at a time so we can control the environment. Hand sanitizer between every set, no touching anything. Masks. And temp at the door. I’ll be the only one to move lights around. I think we can do this safely.
And, I’ll have an hour or so to work with Elley myself. I have some new lighting to try out that should be interesting as well as some new props and wardrobe. It’s been a while. But we usually hit the studio floor running with creativity so we should be fine.
I made a major change to enhance the Museletter home page. Most of you have probably never been there. NOW it has a full list of all 77 Museletters as links you can click on. So it’s not just the drop down menu. This will allow you to track the links you’ve seen so checking out the art in each week will be far easier, and something you can come back to and enjoy as you cruise through them a few at a time. Check it out!! And then copy that home page link and send it to all of your friends who might enjoy the art.
We’ll be here in Chandler until the middle of next week and then it’s finally back up to Bonita for a few months. I might shoot a little up there, especially since the forest is closed to the public. It’s quiet and fairly safe from humans starting fires. Might have some lightning when the monsoons actually appear. They are late. But Linda and I will be spending the mornings for a few weeks making the property just a bit more fire safe.
