Greetings, people of Earth.

Apparently, we are being visited regularly by life forms from other places. More than likely we are some cosmic kid’s biology project, and it is just checking on us to make sure we have water and air and haven’t been pushed off the shelf by the cosmic cat. I’m sure we are fun to watch.

So, it’s been a busy week. Saturday, we had our second annual natural light photography class, followed by a Zoom class for those students to show some tips on editing. Elley did her usual excellent job coming up with outfits and had several wigs to change up looks even more. Everyone seemed to have had a good time. I know I did. Typically I just stand around and plan the next spot we’ll shoot, and I don’t take many pictures myself. This time, over the five hours, I took almost 1700 pictures. That’s a LOT compared to what I usually take in any single shoot. It was twice as long, and there were a lot of sets, and that is probably the reason. In any case, everyone captured some beautiful images that day.

I have three more shoots scheduled before we head up to Bonita Creek for the summer. Between those and packing up, we’ll be pretty busy around here. And I already have a shoot booked for Bonita in August.

The videos I’ve been including in the Museletter will likely be absent from the summer issues because we don’t have the bandwidth to upload something like that from Bonita. I’ve tried, and it takes hours and bogs down the network big time. So, back to just some fine art to check out and something to look forward to in the fall/winter.

We picked up our new trailer this week, also. If we are out cruising on the road or camped in the middle of nowhere, there just may be a repeat of a past Museletter. Reruns, as it were. If you don’t have much internet bandwidth, there’s only so much one can do.

This week’s video was created by Ashlieya, the model. She used unedited images, so it is a bit special in that you get to see how the light worked in the shots without my editing things around.

Speaking of our trailer. So far, it is looking like a very fun rig. We were shocked that it came with what they called the Beast Mode, and it has some seriously cool independent suspension and it pretty high off the ground. Hence, she will be called “The Beast” from this point forward.

Stay open-minded and curious, my friends!

Dave
