Greetings,

First, I want to thank those of you who take the time to drop me a note about the latest issue and what you might have liked about it. I’m honest with myself and admit I do it to show off. Fortunately, I love editing and creating art, so I’m enjoying the creation of the Museletter content.

Last Saturday, I had a delightful day. I shot with a client, and we did a boudoir shoot at the same home in Mesa, where I did the class the Saturday before. She and her husband liked what we created. It was an all-day complete package that included a morning with my best makeup artist and hair wrangler, and then we shot at some location for 4 or 5 hours. We get plenty of incredible images to choose from for finished products.

The next day, last Sunday, Linda and I packed more than usual, hooked up the new R-Pod trailer, and headed for Bonita Creek for the summer. So, we are up here enjoying the fresh air with the windows open the whole time. I spend lots of time sitting on deck swings enjoying the hummingbirds and cool breezes. It takes a few days to settle in and complete some nesting chores. And get used to the 6k foot altitude.

I’ve had ample time to consider my last 13 years as a photographer. I am so thankful for everyone I’ve met. For the most part, everyone has been amazing, and many are good friends. I would venture to say a few may be lifelong friends long after I put my camera down. Any time you can make memories and friends. That is the definition of a good life. Considering how many great memories I have with the people I’ve met and worked with, knowing full well I’ve forgotten some great moments already, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. A few have moved on, and I no longer have contact with or shoot; those memories are still happy. I’m glad we shared a chapter in each other’s life novels.

As I mentioned last week, I don’t have the bandwidth up here to upload videos, so I will add a re-run from previous issues. They are all still fun and entertaining.

Enjoy life, hug your loved ones, and remember to live in the hear and now. Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. So don’t worry about tomorrow. It happens and can be as glorious as you make it.

Always look for the bright side.

Stay open-minded and curious, my friends!

Dave
