Greetings,

The next Museletter is #200. Whew!! That’s a lot of weeks in a row!

It has been a busy week, although not a lot of shoots. We spent some time up at Bonita and saw the snow. That’s always fun. We’ll be back up there for the holidays. It is just too busy down here with kids out of school and traffic seems to get worse by the day. It might just be that it bothers me more each day. I’m becoming a grumpier old man. I’ve worked hard to achieve that lofty goal.

I had a wonderful shoot with Cynamon yesterday. It is her first time back at shooting in a while. That always adds some pressure on me. I always want models to have fun and enjoy their experiences. But, if someone has been away from it for a while it is extra important to help them re-experience the fun they had before, and hopefully, that encourages them to do more modeling.

We did some nude posing…well, she did, I just took pictures. And some with wings and some interesting outfits she brought. Everything that has been edited so far will be in the gallery for this issue.

I want to thank everyone for the positive feedback on the picture of Alanna and her baby. It is a storyteller with emotions on her face showing the innocent responsibility ahead in her eyes. I’ll have to revisit that shoot and see if there are other angles we captured as well as other expressions.

I edited a couple more images from my trip to Orlando with Marcela. That was years ago but a true highlight of my photography life. She’s a beauty, and it was such an honor that she agreed to trip across the country to shoot for five days. If I had a chance to do that again, I would certainly shoot more around the town and just see how many sets we could cram into five days.

Elley and I are planning a trip to the dunes while it is not hot. I expect it could actually get pretty cold out there, so maybe in the spring again. The plan is to try some Dune-themed sets. And maybe some Man Max looks. The dunes are such a strange place. And a beautiful place to create art for sure. We have another thing we are going to try, but we’ll keep that as a surprise. If it works.

Sunday Elley is coming for some headshots for her actress gig. That should be fun. I’ll be breaking out my infamous diamond-shaped lighting gadget to put some interesting highlights in her eyes. It kinda’ makes any face stand out.

Stay excellent, happy, and healthy!

Dave
