This week in the life…
Greetings all!
I hope all are well and life is as grand as possible for you.
This week has had some serious edits and a weekend with great friends in New Mexico. We stayed with Dave Stabley and his slightly more significant other, Kathy. Both wonderful photographers, artists, and world travelers. What a great time.
And, while we were there I grabbed the opportunity to shoot the ever amazing Kileen. (right) And got a chance to meet a new model, Yoli, and work with her some too. A few of their images are in this week’s Museletter, and several more to come over the next week I expect.
Kileen always has some super creative ideas and outfits and she really makes them all work wonderfully. Of course, just shooting her floating in a hot tub is amazing with that smile. And Yoli did wonderful too. I hope to shoot with both of them again in the future.
This coming weekend I have the last shoot in my calendar coming up. But it’s not a small event. I’ll be shooting with Elley Cat (right bottom) at a horse ranch all day Saturday and then on Sunday we are off in her 4 seater ATV to some abandoned mines and buildings to see what we can create. Since she’s an accomplished rider, geologist, and beauty, we should do okay. She is MY model after all. I just loan her out once in a while so the kidnapping charges won’t stick. ;)
So tomorrow I get the little Basecamp trailer ready and will head out Friday afternoon to the ranch. Shooting starts at sunrise. Yawn!
And, I’ve been printing and selling more prints these days. If anyone is interested in having something they have seen of my art, let me know. I can get you a 11x17 print sent to you for $55.
And geeky things going on of course. I’ve been keeping my 3D printer busy. And A lot of the parts for various projects are coming together…from China and Russia.
And after these weekends I’ll have a LOT of things to edit from. This week, BTW, is all new material in the gallery.
