The flippant choice to dive into photography and art years ago has been a lifesaver. In my attempts to tune out the world as it burns, getting lost in editing some new art takes me far away. I remember the laughter during the shoot. The ideas flow freely. The beauty being captured. And then the quiet time while editing to bring those captured moments into the art that I enjoy.
