Greetings,

It feels like the seasons are about to change. And possibly for the cooler. And you know what that means? Eggnog!! And at least a couple of new pounds to chase off after the holidays. It's worth every drop.

This issue, and possibly a few of the next ones, will consist of random nude art from the last ten years. There may be some new images mixed in as I edit. But I really do love that art the best. Especially body parts. I hope you find them as beautiful as I do.

If you enjoy fine art nude work you should check out a website called Model Society. They have some of the best photographers posting images there. They even have an academy for teaching photography and art and some of my classes are available there. Check them out.

Our most important possessions are our memories. The best part about memories is that you tend only to remember the best parts and forget the rest. It is a fact that we tend to rewrite our memories over time to enhance them. I expect that helps keep them as happy memories and more likely to remain in our noodle’s database. Unfortunately, as one gets older, this one in particular, some of the indexing of the memories gets mixed up because I’m noticing I have to pause and give some thought to the simplest of things. Yes, often I’ll see one of my images and recognize the model, but I can’t think of their name. So far, it’s just those few people I worked with once or twice and years ago. Those that I worked with a handful of times are easier to remember. Not always instant, however.

After traveling for a month in our new trailer, I only wanted to see a larger table. So, my son and I (him mostly) are building a lovely custom table. We’ll be going from 28x28 to 32x44. Being the craftsman he is, he will put a compass inlay on the tabletop, and as we enter the trailer, that will be one of the first things one sees. That’s going to be outstanding. We have another trip planned in about a week and will take the unfinished top along to ensure the sizing works. When we return, it’ll get a nice sanding and a poly coating.

We are about to head out and get our flu and new COVID boosters. So far Linda and I have avoided covid, and we haven’t had the flu in decades. I know, I may be jinxing it. But, hands full of vitamins each day, hand washing, and staying away from close crowds it will be for the fall/winter. If it gets bad, we’ll just go hide at Bonita. Not a bad option at all.

Always look for the bright side.

How to handle an argument. Stop and listen. Ask questions. And always consider you could be wrong. And maybe negotiate?

To be a great conversationalist, ask questions and listen. Repeat.
