This week in the life…

Greetings!

Well now, I think I’ll start releasing the Museletters earlier than later in the day because a lot of you are home anyhow avoiding germs. So be it. I have to do my share. Interesting times.

So, I’ve had a week to edit using my new 32” monitor and I must say…awesome. I was worried it might not have the resolution I want but I actually had to blow things up a bunch just so I can see them. Very clear and easy on the eyes. The models are easy on the eyes…might be that.

Since all of my shoots are canceled for the time being, I promised each model I would go back over past shoots we’d had and edit new ones from those. So, any new ones in the group are new but shot months and even years ago. I’m happy and sad when I can find gems in past shoots. I love finding them but hate that I missed them the first pass. But, new skills help see something I might have passed up before. And a different artistic eye since that is always changing for all of us over time.

Sometimes people ask me what my favorite image is. I usually say it’s the last one I took, or the last one I edited. And that’s usually close. But yep, I have a few all time favorites. I may do a special edition of the Museletter with my favorites of the 6,000+ images in my collection of edited images. What do you think?

I’ve also toyed with the idea of a simple magazine style book that just has a few little stories but mostly featuring models and shoots. Would you be willing to pay $15 for something like that?

One of the images in the gallery is a before and after. Kiera in the red hair and flag glasses. Interesting that I made her hair bigger, then used clips of her hair from the other picture of her here and added it to the big one to just give her ultra hair. That’s always fun. And there are two tub shots and one she has red hair and the other is her natural hair. That’s also kinda’ fun.

There are some older images mixed in as I usually do.

So, enjoy life, watch and listen to less news, do something you’ve always wanted to do that you can do from home, and learn something you’ve always wanted to know. I’m working with projects using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi computers, talking with people all over with my amateur radio stations, and learning Fusion 360, a CAD program that will give me the ability to design my own things and then print them on my 3D printers. Props? Nothing but time.

Be safe and wash your hands!
