This is a rerun from 2021 - still beautiful art. I’m in California and have three shoots scheduled, so plenty of new art coming this way soon.

"Drizzle, Drazzle, Druzzle, Drome, time for this one to come home."

Greetings,

Many of you messaged me last week to share your favorite image or to touch base and say hello. Thank you. It’s always lovely to hear from you. It lets me know someone is enjoying my weekly endeavor.

Well, my second of three students has just hit the road to return to California. So, that’s two classes down and one more to go this weekend. I’ve also squeezed in a couple of shoots as well as shooting some of the models during the classes. Unfortunately, that didn’t give me much time to edit images. There are a few, but I’ll add some from the archives to make this Museletter fluffier.

Teaching classes is a great deal of fun for me. The questions remind me of things I hadn’t done or used lately. In explaining things, it also reinforces that information in my own noodle. And that never hurts. Well…it might for a second. (grin). But that’s just from something else I knew, leaving said noodle.

I added a new microphone to my collection of computers and peripherals. (toys). The Yeti Blue X is cool. There’s software to allow you to do complete customization of the sound, and you can even have different sounds based on which app you are running. Love it!! I think you can even do some fun sound effects with it, but I am still playing with it and learning how it works.

The reason for the new mic is for a video project Colby and I are planning to create. It should be fun. And, of course, it works really well with my remote amateur radio station. I am also planning to add new sessions to my online training.

We also added some Sennheiser wireless headphones to our television watching. I’ll bet that actually hearing what is being said will add to the story lines.

I’m excited that Elley will be back in less than a week. She might be thawed out in just a few days after that. It’ll be great to have her little butt back in Arizona, where it belongs. Greenland is a wonderful experience, I’m sure, but my zoom lens won’t go that far.

As you will see, the wings got their first wear with a couple of models this week. They are so light and beautiful. I’m so glad to have them as options in the studio. I expect they will make their way to Bonita from time to time. Wings work better in the wild.

My head is still in the teach mode, so it needs to unwind. Some relaxing and some editing should take care of that.

And thank you to those of you who asked about Linda is progress with her new hip. It seems like yesterday, but it’s been six weeks now, and she’s doing fine. Doing more and more as time goes on.

Until next week, enjoy!!! And stay safe.

Dave
